This is Superintendent Andre Spicer, and I’m thrilled to personally invite you to our 7th Annual Region South STEAM Gala, taking place on Saturday, May 17th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gardena High School!
This unforgettable event is the grand finale of a year filled with innovation, where our incredible students and educators have brought Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) to life in truly inspiring ways.
Get ready to:
- Explore the Planetarium
- Build and Launch rockets with StarBase
- Fly simulators with STEMPilot in “Space Land”
- Experience illusions and experiments in “Impossible Land”
- Compete in iDREAM E-sports in “Imagination Land”
- Dive into robotics in “Robo Land”
- Create music with MusicNotes
- Design in our FabLAB with 3D printing tools
- Enjoy live performances and science fun in “Party Land”!
Plus, enjoy fresh popcorn, cotton candy, raffles, and the joy of community. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students, and free transportation is available from various locations.
