It's Spirit Week at Patton. Students are encouraged to show their school spirit according to each day's theme. Visit the Patton website news for a list.
Monday is NOT a holiday. Schools are open Monday, February 12th, and we wan to see your student at school.
Tuesday, we invite parents to attend the financial aid workshop with Ms. Luong. She will be available 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in room 1. All Class of 2024 students are expected to complete a financial aid application. Parent help is necessary to complete the application.
Thursday, a representative from the U.S. Army recruiting office will be at Patton during lunch. He will be here to explain the benefits of joining the Army and answer any questions you or your student might have. Parents are welcome.
Friday, we will be conducting our monthly emergency drill. We do this to prepare in the event of a real emergency. Friday is also the end of the 5-week grading period. Progress reports will be mailed home next week. Parents are always welcome to Patton to discuss your student's progress. We highly encourage you to meet with Mr. Paek or a Patton counselor to discuss your student's credit recovery progress.
We remind you that our weekly and monthly attendance challenges continue. Congratulations to this week's winners, Cesar and K.C.!
Lastly, President's Day holiday is NEXT Monday, February 19th. LAUSD schools will be closed on that day.
