Greetings Patton Families,
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. We are so excited to welcome your student to Patton. We want to emphasize the important and necessary role you play in the success of your child. We will do everything in our power to guide and encourage your child to put in the daily effort while here at school. Your child needs you to guide and encourage them at home by checking on their class percentages and setting aside an hour or more at home to continue work in their classes. Did you receive the Patton Monthly Parent News? Be sure to look for it in the mail this week.
Monday, we begin i-Ready testing in Homeroom Advisory in English and mathematics. We expect every student to be present and do their best.
Friday, Mrs. Neal will have an informational meeting for students interested in joining our Students Run LA Club. It is open for all students (and parents too). Weekly walk/runs in neighboring parks. Monthly city-wide races with free gifts.
Looking ahead, parents are encouraged to come to Patton's Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 28th, from 5pm to 6pm. Meet your child's teachers and understand how Patton is a different high school experience. Each family in attendance will receive a free backpack.
