It's been a successful week with our students completing 11 courses just this week; adding to the 45 courses completed so far these first 5 weeks of the school year. How many courses has your student completed this year? The semester is 25% done, and students should be approximately 25% completed in their courses. You are always welcome to ask how your child is progressing in their courses. Free tutoring is always available through Tutor.com. Tutor.com is available through your child's Schoology account.
This Thursday, we celebrate the 25th day of school. Students were asked, and they asked for pizza. Make sure your child is at school on Thursday to join us for some pizza at lunch.
Also on Thursday, our counselor, Ms. Mendoza, will be leading our first Parent Workshop of the year. She will be discussing Healthy Communication between parent and child. The workshop begins at 6:00 PM in our Parent Center Room 1. We hope to see you there!
Friday, we will have our monthly emergency drill. With the recent earthquake, we know that practicing is necessary for preparation. We will continue to practice different emergency scenarios each month.
