Greetings Patton Families,
We had an incredible academic start coming back from Winter Break. Patton students completed a record 49 course completions in these first 4 weeks of the semester. Ask your student how many they completed or come to the Patton office and ask how your student is progressing.
Thursday evening, our students will be going to Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Show in Buena Park. Registration is currently full. If your student registered with a permission slip, the bus will leave Patton at 5pm and return at 10pm. Students under 18 years old must be picked up by a parent or guardian.
The month of February is Black History Month. Black History Month is celebrated to honor and recognize the significant contributions, achievements, and history of African Americans. It's a time to reflect on the struggles they've faced and the progress they've made, while also acknowledging the ongoing fight for equality and justice. It helps raise awareness about Black history, which is often overlooked or underrepresented in mainstream education, and fosters a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences that shape our society.
