Parent & Family Engagement Documents and Information
All staff at Patton High School believe that children learn best when schools collaborate with parents as equal partners in their children’s education. Parents can partner with schools by promoting a culture of literacy and high expectations at home and at school. They can participate in school events and on committees, in addition to volunteering and serving in parent centers. Our goal is to develop a welcoming environment for parents while offering them a variety of opportunities to partner with our school and community to improve student achievement so that all students will graduate from Patton High School prepared for college and future career endeavors.
EVERY SCHOOL SAFE PARENT VIDEOS
Dear Parent or Guardian:
Los Angeles Unified is committed to providing every student in our District with a safe learning environment. As a part of the Every School Safe: Blueprint for Safety, throughout the 2025-2026 school year, students will be taught strategies to help them recognize concerns and how to ask for help. Students throughout LAUSD will participate in the seven (7) presentations during assemblies, and advisory/homeroom as identified in the table below.
Prior to the student presentations, parents will be invited to a presentation regarding the same topic for that month. These may be offered during a Coffee with the Principal segment, school site workshop or a Parent and Family Center activity. Contact your school site administrator to learn more.

El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Ángeles se compromete a proporcionar a todos los estudiantes de nuestro distrito un entorno de aprendizaje seguro. Como parte de Every School Safe: Blueprint for Safety, durante el año escolar 2025-2026, los estudiantes se les enseñarán estrategias para ayudarlos a reconocer sus preocupaciones y cómo pedir ayuda. Estudiantes en todo el distrito participarán en las siete (7) presentaciones durante asambleas y en el salón de clases como se identifica en la tabla a continuación.
Antes de las presentaciones de los estudiantes, se invitará a los padres a una presentación sobre el mismo tema para ese mes. Estas presentaciones pueden ser ofrecidos durante un segmento de Café con el Director, un taller en el sitio escolar o una actividad del Centro de Padres y Familias.
